How to Find Your Fashion Style

Fashion is a general creativity of dressing but a style is a personal unique way of matching outfits.

A personal style is what separates us from everyone. Some of us don't have our style, and we end up seeking approval and help from our designers, little sister, mum, and sometimes our best friend. Some of us just pick an outfit as long as we don't walk out of the house naked.

It's fascinating how we admire other people's outfits and sometimes shift our whole wardrobe to fit the style of those we admire when we can always find our own.

Here are a few tips to guide you into tapping into your style.

Body Type

We all have a body type whether a man or a woman. For the ladies, it's been fixated on the only body type that is more attractive is that of a Barbie doll when the truth is we are all different and it's okay. Body shapes are genetic, there are those blessed with the booty, those with the breasts, those with the thick hips slim hips, tiny waist, and a wider waist depending on your hipbone.
We are different and the designers understand that. We are all attractive as long as we find clothes that match our shape and embrace our entire being.

Personality

Personality is a personal brand. It's who you are from inside and how you feel. We have goofy babes, feminine, baddy, and tomboys. All these are different personalities that a woman can embody and it's okay. We all feel different and express ourselves differently. When dressing or picking an outfit begin to identify those that match who you are as a person. Some of us prefer looking sexy it's just an expression of how confident we feel about our bodies. Some of us feel good in baggy jeans and airforce. It's a personal style own it.

Authenticity

This is just who you are as a person. I have seen ladies trying an outfit that doesn't represent who they are just because it's a trend. Who said it's a must you go by the trends? Authenticity is key, you will never lose yourself when you believe in this notion. Some of us don't thrive so well with heels because we are always jumpy and sometimes clumsy. I have seen many brides wearing sneakers and not heels. It's a matter of knowing and understanding what suits your taste and going hard on it.

Comfortability

Comfort is the goal. As long as you can be yourself and perform in your outfit no one should question you why. Comfortability should not only mean only your end but those around you too. You cannot afford to put everyone around you in a distractive mood in the name of being okay. It's called mindfulness. I find sweatpants and sweater crops very comfortable, if I am to choose an outfit I would go with them all time and a few pieces of dresses just to look sexy.

Your beliefs

Our beliefs set us apart from everyone. Our cultural background is a visual description of who we are and what we represent. Just like the Muslims they believe in being covered all over and you can tell a Muslim in a congregation by how their hijab. Culture is rich, we all want to see, appreciate, and learn from different people. The exposure will enlighten us to embrace new ideas.

Above all just like fashion changes as the brain behind a certain design, your style will also change with time. There is nothing wrong with that.

Hope these tips will guide you in finding your style.
